It’s Turkey Time

Blue Mountain Audubon is reaching out to schools to encourage families to get outside and
discover the joys of birding. Check out the website at https://blumtn.org/ for what’s happening in Walla
Walla. Our theme this month is Turkeys…the wild feathered kind.
Here are some fun suggestions for kids of all ages:
 Take family Turkey Trot: Drive the outskirts of Walla Walla to find turkeys.  They’re
everywhere!
 Create a Quiz for Turkey Day:  Kahoot is a free app https://kahoot.com  Using any device, a
whole family (or classroom) can play at once. For fun facts, here’s a link to Cornell University’s
