Fall Sports Registration

Fall Sports Registration is Tuesday, August 17, 5:00-8:00 pm in the Garrison Student Services Office

6th Grade Fall Sports:

• Girls' Volleyball

• Boys' Wrestling

7th & 8th Grade Fall Sports:

• Girls' Volleyball               

• Cross Country (Co-ed)

• Football

7th & 8th Grade Football practice begins Monday, August 23rd, 3:05-5:15 p.m.     

Registration/Athletic Clearance packets are available in the foyer and may be picked up now Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. ALL paperwork must be complete, including a current physical, before student-athletes may attend practice.

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

• Provide a physical examination form signed by a licensed doctor (good for 24 months).
• Pay a yearly Garrison ASB fee of $7.00.
• Show proof of medical insurance or purchase the school accident insurance plan.
• Both the student and parent must sign the Activity Contract.
• Pay a $15.00 sport fee for each sport .
• Student Managers are required to complete a sports packet (excluding the physician portion of the physical exam form).  They are also required to pay a one-time ASB fee of $7.00.     

SPORTS PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES

•  Student-Athletes must maintain passing grades to participate.
• All Student-Athletes are required to attend Study Table on Early Release Wednesdays

Wednesday Early Release Study Table

• ALLstudent athletes participating in sports will report to Study Table each Wednesday at 2:05 pm to 3:05 pm. 
• Garrison is a CLOSED campus, students are not to leave campus.
• Snacks will be provided for all students in Study Table.
• Students who do not successfully complete Study Table will not be allowed to participate in practice on that day.
• Regular school discipline will be imposed if necessary.
• Students will be expected to:
  • Show up on time
  • Sign-in
  • Be respectful, cooperative and productive during this time
